Time Advice on BMW Car Repair and Servicing

As the race to manufacture the best sustainable transportation continues, BMW and Porsche were in the spotlight in December. The two prestige marques unveiled a new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station that can power a vehicle in under three minutes to travel 100km.

Fast charging is considered a key factor in making the EV market a success. Surveys show that customers are accepting of the vehicles themselves but worry about charging durations and running out of power on long journeys.

BMW announced in November 2018 that it was ready to start rolling out its new EVs. An electric two-door mini is scheduled for release in 2019, followed by an electric version of the X3 SUV in 2020.

BMW Specialist

Technology has always been a strong point for BMW, making it one of the most popular cars on the road. But with state-of-the-art technology comes the need for a BMW specialist to care for your vehicle.

You’ll see many a BMW on the Sunshine Coast, from executive coupes to family-friendly SUVs. And whilst you may pay a hefty amount for your vehicle, the good news is that you can save on car servicing and maintenance.

The fact is, when you need a BMW car repair or service, you don’t need to return the vehicle to the dealership where you bought it.

BMW Car Repair

For years drivers believed that their warranty would become void if they took their BMW anywhere else. However, an update on what the warranty laws really mean is saving drivers a bundle.

Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, vehicle manufacturers may not attach conditions that restrict the buyer’s freedom of choice. This means they cannot specify where you get your car serviced. Nor can they void your warranty because you had your vehicle serviced outside the dealership.

You must, however, take the vehicle to a registered qualified mechanic for BMW car repair and servicing.
